On March 28 at 7:00 p.m. we will be
having a Church Chat. Topic
for discussion is our budget and giving. We will take a look at where we have
been in the past, where we are in the present and where we are going in the
future as a congregation! The
Deacons will be providing a snack following the discussion. Please mark your
calendars!!
The Community Good Friday Service that is sponsored by the Goessel Ministerial
Alliance will be held here at Goessel Mennonite Church on April 2, at 7:00 p.m.
I will not be in the office the afternoon of Thursday, March 11.

Just a reminder for parents to return the registration form for Camp
WaShunGa to Arlen Goertzen by March 10. As of Thursday, February 25,
only two have been received. Please get these in as soon as possible so
final plans can be made. Thank you.
GAWJH Schedule Change: Please note that the March
20th Service Project event has been rescheduled to Friday, April 9,
2010. We will meet at 6:30 p.m. in
the Goessel Church parking lot. Please save that date and plan
to come have a great time working together to serve others. (Details

The
annual Spring Sunset Supper event
to be held March 11, 2010 at 6 p.m. at the Eden Mennonite Church, Moundridge.
This supper will feature Gracia Burnham as guest speaker. A soup supper will be
served at 6:00 p.m. at $6.00 per person. A sign up sheet for reservations and more details are on the
foyer bulletin board. All women are invited to this event.

to First Mennonite Church, Halstead, KS for a Celebration of Music on March 21 at 7 p.m. They are
celebrating their 135th anniversary. A social time will follow the

The MCC Comforter Blitz will be Monday, March 8 from 12 p.m. to 9
p.m. and Tuesday, March 9 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Journey at Yoder church
(just 1 mile north of Yoder). MCC is requesting 25,000 comforters for
earthquake survivors in Haiti. Gather your friends for a day of tying
knots together! Several quilts will also be set up. See the flier
on the bulletin board for more details.
What is happening in the Ukraine, which is such an important
part of Mennonite roots and history? MEDA (Mennonoite Economic
Development Associates) is helping the struggling small farmers through the
change from the Soviet collective farm system to a market based economy.
Steve Wright, manager of the MEDA Ukraine Project will be in
Kansas Saturday, March 13, 6:00 PM for a German Buffet dinner &
presentation at Hoffnungsau Mennonite Church. Make reservations by
